Ireland cricket board has appointed former Australia fast bowler Brett Lee as bowling coach for the upcoming ICC cricket world cup starting from 14 Feb. Brett Lee will help Irish bowlers to bowl in these conditions.
Ireland coach Phil Simmons said, “Brett Lee has a wonderful knowledge of fast bowling, and his special insight of Australian pitches will help give our bowlers further confidence ahead of their group matches.”
Irish coach believes that it’s a great opportunity for Ireland bowler to learn from this two time world cup champion bowler. Lee took 380 wickets in 221 ODIs played for Australia.
“I am sure they will all benefit from the experience he has accumulated, especially in the pressure situations of a global event. It is a fantastic opportunity for our bowlers to learn from a living legend.”
