Finn becomes first England bowler to take hat-trick in world cup

Steve Finn has created history today in the second match of 2015 world cup as he takes hat-trick in last three balls of Australian innings. Steve Finn gets the wickets of Brad Haddin, Glenn Maxwell and Mitchel Johnson. This is the first occasion when an England bowler takes hat-trick in a cricket world cup game.

This was 8th hat-trick in a cricket world cup tournament history.  Steve Finn took five wickets in this match as he got the wickets of George Bailey and Mitchell Marsh. Finn is the 4th English bowler to take hat-trick in ODIs. James Anderson, Steve Harmison and Andrew Flintoff took hat-tricks for England in One-Day Internationals. Though he created history but couldn’t stop Australian batsmen to score. Australia made 342 runs in 50 overs.
