IPL 2020: Royal Challengers beat KKR by 82 runs

Playing some bold cricket in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore have defeated Kolkata Knight Riders in the 28th game of the IPL 2020 season. AB De Villiers was the star for RCB as he smashed KKR bowlers and hit fifty in 23 balls.

The match was being played at Sharjah stadium which has short boundaries as compared to other two grounds. And ABD was on the full song and hitting the bowlers all over the park. He remained not out on 73 in 33 balls. There were 6 sixes and 5 fours in AB De Villiers sensational innings.

RCB opener Aaron Finch contributed 47 runs meanwhile skipper Virat Kohli returned pavilion not out scoring 33 in 28 balls. Fireworks from ABD helped Royal Challengers post 194 runs on the board in 20 overs for the loss of 2 wickets.

In the chase of 195, KKR lost the way from the start of innings and team just managed to score 112 runs in 20 overs. RCB’s spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar were the heroes as both bowlers just conceded 32 runs in 8 overs between them and dismissed 3 batsmen as well.

RCB won the match by 82 runs and now stands at the 3rd place in points table with 5 victories in played 7 matches.
