Star tennis player Novak Djokovic is compared with the snake after the first round of 2020 French Open. Serbian star was facing Mikael Ymer in the initial round and he won the game in less than 1 hour and 40 minutes. After losing the game, Ymer entitled Djokovic as snake.
“It felt like when a snake kills its prey. I had chances to rally but then I got suffocated,” Ymer said after the loss.
Eventually Ymer compared Novak in a positive manner instead of negativity. According to the Swedish player, Djokovic doesn’t let his opponent live on the court. He keeps try to beat the opposition player as early as possible.
On the other hand, Serbia’s Djokovic ambitious to win this year’s Roland Garros as he was storm into second round with 6-0, 6-2, 6-3 victory.
“My ambition is to fight for the title here. It’s just the start of the tournament, I just want to play one match at a time. It’s always a pleasure to return to Paris on Philippe Chatrier, this important court. The atmosphere is a little different this year with few fans but I remain motivated to win the title,” Djokovic said.
