Kerala Blasters have appointed former England Football Team Coach Peter Taylor for upcoming second season of Indian Super League. Inaugural ISL tournament finalist Kerala Blasters will now be having services of former English player Peter Taylor who will work closely with assistant coach Trevor Morgan.
Peter Taylor has managed a lot of football clubs and teams excluding national team as he has managed Dartford, Southend United, Hull City, Leicester City, Brighton and Hove Albion, Wycombe Wanderes, Crystal Palace, Stevenage Borough, Dover Athletic, Brandford City and Gillingham.
After his association with Kerala Blasters for 2015 Indian Super League Peter Taylor said, “I’m personally impressed with the support that Kerala Blasters have received in the inaugural edition. Kerala has a strong legacy in Indian football and I am looking forward to working with the team and share the passion for football with the fans.”
Kerala Blasters lost 2014 ISL final against Atletico de Kolkata and they will be looking to claim title this year with their new coach. Taylor also believes that team can perform well and he said, “ISL inaugural season was a huge success and I’m sure it will get better and better. The league had laid strong foundation in its first season to nurture Indian football.”
