Sri Lanka cricket team for world cup has been announced and they will be looking to win world cup this time as they were the finalists in 2007 and 2008 world cups. SL will play first match of 2015 world cup against hosts New Zealand on 14 February at Hagley Oval, Christchurch.
SL team is in pool A of tournament where they’ll play other teams like Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Australia, England and Scotland. Sri Lanka will play second match of world cup against Afghanistan on 22 Feb at University Oval. Angelo Mathews is the captain of Sri Lanka 15-man squad.

Bangladesh will be up against Sri Lanka on 26 February at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Sri Lanka will play their fourth game of CWC15 against England on 1st March at Wellington Regional Stadium.
