The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be 22nd edition of football world cup to be played between 20 November and 18 December across several venues in Qatar. France will be title defending champion in the tournament as they won previous world cup in 2018 by defeating Croatia in the final.
First match of fifa 2022 world cup will be played on 20th November between Qatar and Ecuador. Top two teams from all 8 groups will make it into the knockout stage. These 16 teams will be playing round of 16 stage and then 8 winners will head into the quarterfinal matches. Quarter-final winners to enter in the semifinals and then two top teams will head into the final which is scheduled for 18th December.
