Argentina football team final squad announced for 2018 FIFA World Cup. Noted striker Mauro Icardi is not included in the 23-man Argentine roster. Mauro was spectacular this season for club and national team but failed to make it into the Argentina’s 2018 world cup squad.

Jorge Sampaoli’s team will highly be depending on skipper Lionel Messi who will definitely be eager to add the prestigious trophy in his belt. Along with Messi, striker Sergio Aguero will be key player for two-time FIFA world cup champion Argentina.

Star goalkeeper Sergio Romero was part of the original Argentine side but he ruled out due to injury. Nahuel Guzman was named as the replacement of Romero.

Argentina is placed in Group D and will be taking on Iceland, Croatia and Nigeria.
