International Cricket Council has declared the RFP (Requests for Proposals) from companies interested in providing Sportainment services for 2016 twenty20 world cup which is scheduled to play between 11 March and 3 April in India. The company whose proposal will get selected by jury, will get an opportunity to work closely with ICC. The deadline for the proposal is 30 October 2015.

In a press release ICC said, “The successful company will work closely with ICC to produce, deliver and manage all Sportainment needs for the event in which 16 sides (India – host, Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, Hong Kong, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, Pakistan, Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Zimbabwe) will participate across eight venues (Bangalore, Chennai, Dharamshala, Kolkata, Mohali, Mumbai, Nagpur and New Delhi).”
The schedule of ICC World T20 hasn’t been released and it will be announced shortly. Both men’s and women’s wold t20 tournaments will take place in India in 2016. There will be 35 matches played in the men’s 20-20 world cup which will be televised all over the world through various broadcasting networks.
As per ICC, at least 10 matches of women’s ICC World T20 2016 will be televised.
