Kolkata Knight Riders magical spinner Sunil Narine has been permitted to participate in Indian Premier League. Board of Cricket Control has given clean chit to West Indies cricketer Sunil Narine for bowling in BCCI’s major tournaments.
BCCI bowling review committee tested Narine’s action at SRMC Centre at Chennai and found that Sunil is having appropriate bowling action. Javagal Srinath, S Venkatraghavan and AV Jayaprakash examined Sunil’s bowling action.
BCCI Honorable Secretary Anurag Thakur was happy to declare that Sunil Narine will be participating in IPL-8 season. In a media release Mr Anurag said, “I am happy that we will witness Sunil Narine in action in the Pepsi IPL 8 , since he is now cleared by the BCCI committee. We look forward to the opening match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians on the 8th of April in Kolkata, which promises to provide an exciting start to the tournament.”
KKR will play opening match of 2015 IPL on 8 April against Mumbai Indians in Eden Gardens.
