Australia National Football Team will play second semi-final match of 16th AFC Asian Cup against United Arab Emirates on 27 January, 2015 at Newcastle Stadium. Winner of this knockout game will face South Korea in the final match on 31 January at Stadium Australia. Mile Jedinak is captaining Socceroos team in the tournament whereas Majed Naser is leading UAE in 2015 Asian Cup.

This is the third Asian Cup tournament of Socceroos team and they are appearing in the semi-final for the consecutive second time and will be eager to make in final for the successive 2nd time. Australia beat China in the quarterfinal to get here and their star player Cahill was phenomenal.

United Arab Emirates
UAE team has qualified for Asian Cup 2015 semifinal by defeating defending champions Japan. They will be highly depending on tournament’s top scorer Ali Mabkhout. United Arab Emirates has appeared in the afc Asian cup semi-final after 1996. UAE’s main strength is their defence as they have defended 75 shots. The way UAE faced Japan in quarterfinal it was great and even Australian side is aware of United Arab Emirates and they are not taking them lightly.
